lyrics

The Girl with the Sun in Her Hair,
Got burned by the light of it.
Can't talk in public,
Surefire crossed wires.
Tears on her pillow,
Sparkling in lamplight,
Hiding from something,
But there's a flame that remains.

Even in times of trouble,
When it's all we can do just to stand up.
Please break out.
Sometimes we all lose faith,
All we can do is just break out.
Please stand up.

She's dancing light on her feet,
Feeling through photographs,
An esteem that she never learned,
A hope for the future.
Tears on her pillow,
Sparkling in lamplight,
Her eyes start glowing,
Hope arriving.

Even in times of trouble,
When it's all we can do just to stand up.
Please break out.
Sometimes we all lose faith,
All we can do is just break out.
Please stand up.
