lyrics

Sometimes I'm lost in confusion,
Sometimes I don't know what to do.
Sometimes I'm breaking the back of the ages.
When we'd spark off we'd go like fireworks,
Then like a sign I read the warning,
"You cannot buy back your life",
And I felt as though I'd answered my calling.

Somewhere, there's a star that shines for you,
And I don't know what to do.

These are the tangled lines of my dissent.
These are the one-off shots that show I'm hell-bent.
I have lost my mind and I don't care.
I have chased, I have lost, I have landed.
I have staked my claim and then abandoned it,
I have lost the right to keep you hanging on.

Somewhere, there's a star that shines for you,
And I don't know what to do.

"You don't want to say you love me", she says
"What is it about me that you don't want me ?"
And he says, "You don't want to say you love me,
But I know that I'm nothing without you."

Somewhere, there's a star that shines for you,
And I don't know what to do.
